A 7.08-carat diamond ring will lead an upcoming jewelry sale at Sotheby’s, where it is set to fetch up to $280,000.
The cut-cornered rectangular step-cut, D-color, VVS1-clarity diamond center stone is flanked by a pair of trapeze-cut diamonds, according to Sotheby’s. The piece will be among the 354 lots included in the December 12 Fine Jewels sale in New York.
The auction also includes jewels from the collection of beauty icon Sydell Miller, as well as of theater benefactor Merle Reskin. It will feature many colored diamonds and gemstones, with items from well-known designers such as Kat Florence, Raymond Yard, Bulgari, Cartier and Kwiat.
